JEN and the MEN is a high-quality, energetic dance-oriented band which is geared to playing top venues across Ontario and far beyond.

While JEN and the MEN primarily perform favourite hits from the great bands and stars of the past and present, this band of talented performers is definitely not your regular run-of-the mill “cover band”.

It starts with front singer Jenny James, whose young age and looks belie years of experience in 5-star hotels in Asia, resorts in the Middle East and cruise ships. Jenny adds a comprehensive arsenal of stylish clothing, sexy moves and slinky grooves to a powerful, pitch-perfect voice that confronts every music genre with integrity and verve.

Using a stockpile of vintage and modern guitars and top amplification gear, Paul Chalmers kicks out the most complex of licks with uncanny accuracy and ease, enabling him to present the greatest guitar-based songs the world has ever heard. Paul plays the solo axe runs of guitar heroes with great pride and precision.

Bass has been always part of  Paul Cafarelli's life. The bass line grooves that he adds to every song makes the song even more groovier and funky. He is a jazz/funk by heart but he also loves the different genres.

A big U2 fan, Massimo Campoli brings the perfect meter on each song.

The inspiration for Jen and the Men was partly drawn from the individual members playing in, and watching, other bands in and out of the Toronto scene. The people who come to a show, they believe, deserve a full show with excellent sound, lights and a connection with the audience.
